Profile
I am a native of Atlanta Georgia. I moved, with my family, to Johnson City, Tennessee in 1984 where I finished up High School at Science Hill High School. In 1987, I enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Incirlik AB, Turkey. After Desert Shield and Desert Storm, I returned to the United States to pursue my education. In 1993, I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science, Sociology, and Psychology from East Tennessee State University. I immediately went to Graduate School and received a Master Degree in Political Science (Public Administration). After graduating, I became a Second Lieutenant in the Tennessee Army National Guard, where I served as the Medical Platoon Leader. Over the years, I was promoted, through the ranks, to the rank of Major and mobilized to support Operation Enduring Freedom, Noble Eagle, and Iraq Freedom.
